Sawyer is a lovable ball of fluff! He was hit by a tractor trailer and had a badly shattered pelvis which was surgically corrected by an orthopedic specialist. He is recovering well but still has a little bit to go before he is medically cleared. He seems to be a little hesitant with men and loud noises, we are trying to expose him to as many men as possible. He is great with foster dad when foster mom is not around. He is terrified of the washer when it is on the spin cycle, but being hit by a car and scared of any noises that sound like cars makes sense. He knows how to poo and pee on command and has been a total trooper with crate training. He really wants to be a puppy but since he is still on cage rest it is hard for him. He does love toys. Sticks are his favorite “free” toy. He does not seem to be too treat motivated so foster mom and dad are clicker training him. He is discovering his bark which is absolutely adorable!
