Meet Roxie! This gorgeous adult girl is healthy, happy, and ready to find the family of her dreams. She has been with us for about a year and she is patiently waiting for her people to find her. Roxie came to us from a local shelter and was so terrified she pressed herself in the back of the kennel and just wanted to disappear. We have put a lot of work into her self growth and she has blossomed into a wonderful family companion. She is still quirky in some ways, but aren’t we all? She is timid of new people and it takes her time to build relationships. When you have earned her trust she will love and be your partner forever. She lives with other dogs and loves having a stable and social dog friend around. She also lives with a cat but she forgets that they don’t like to be chased so she needs to be reminded sometimes. Roxie loves to play and have fun, but her favorite thing to do is be with her people and snuggle. She is incredibly loyal and eager to please. She is a sensitive girl who loves with her whole heart and just wants that in return. If you are somewhat of a home-body, want a home protector, and are accepting of someone who might have some quirks to work through – you owe it to yourself to spend some time with Roxie.
