Meet Max! This 2ish year old neutered male Rottie mix (with a tail ) has recently joined the ranks of K9JL to find his forever home. He is very friendly and intelligent. He is settling into a foster home where dogs and cats reside. He is a bit too into cats so he will need a cat free home. He is housetrained and mostly crate trained. Prior to coming to us he had a bump up with a pushy young child while Max was enjoying a raw hide (despite his every attempt to tell the kid to move along) so for that reason we are looking for a home with older or no children. We have not seen this behavior under proper management but he still may have some resource guarding so proper “rules” should be in place for him to succeed! He is heartworm positive but he is in the process of treatment and is otherwise healthy! He is super affectionate and bonds strongly with his family. He is a big baby and will be a wonderful companion for a special family.
