Meet Jude! This adorable medium sized girl came to us from our local shelter where she was struggling with the stress of the kennel life. She was a stray that was running loose for 6 weeks in a neighborhood before her witty street smarts were finally conquered by a dedicated citizen who was able to trap her. She started out pretty skittish and aloof (as any would suspect after being on your own for so long) but this girl has changed A LOT. She is very sweet and def loves greeting her people with jumps and kisses. She loves the couch. She loves other dogs. She will require a home with no kids as she needs predictability as she settles in. She will benefit from a routine, especially initially. She will need a fenced yard, but a family willing to leash walk her for all potty breaks as she settles in as her timid nature provokes a “flight” response in her and she is an escape risk. Jude will need a confident dog in her new home as she likes to follow another’s lead. Everyday she gains more confidence and shows us how amazing she’s going to be once she really settles in!
