Henry is a very special boy who came to us with his three other siblings. Henry is diabetic and went so long without ever being treated that he was severely underweight, blind, and was having trouble with his kidneys. With the dedicated care of our vet and his foster home, Henry has gained weight, his kidneys have recovered, and he is a happy and as healthy as he can be! Of course he is still blind, but he doesn’t let that affect him one bit. He loves to explore his back yard, loves to cuddle, and loves to get attention. He takes insulin shots twice a day for his diabetes but otherwise he is like any other dog!
