Diego is 9 years old. He has a lot of pep in his step and will jump up in the air to get your attention. He loves being loved on. When you cuddle with him, he will nuzzle under your chin. He dances for soft treats….emphasis on the soft because Diego has no teeth due to advanced dental disease and will also need to eat wet dog food. He will paw at your legs to be held. He is a min pin and as such is very much a lap dog. He is completely housebroken, however he is a bed wetter (he leaks at night) so will just need to be crated at night. He loves his crate so this is not a big deal to him. He is hard of seeing, but we think he sees shadows since his retinas allow light to pass through. He has seen the eye specialist and while his condition will progress to blindness he isn’t in any pain. He is somewhat hard of hearing but perks up when he hears his name. Diego has had seizures around 4 years ago so is on meds for this but they are only about $15 a month and his vet suggested he stay on them for good measure. Diego is good with children but is timid around them so it is best he goes to a home with older children. Diego is a loving guy and so happy full of tail wags and kisses. He does great with dogs and cats and loves soft blankets to cuddle up in and to play “blanket monster” with. He is such a special boy and we know his forever home is out there!
